By God's grace,
we the Dominican sisters here in Pondok Si Boncel and the children are
all fine and in good health. Life goes on by sharing God's love to
them. They are God's children and God entrusted them to all of
us. Right now we have 93 children ages 0-6 years of age. They all came
from different families with different stories, struggles and faith.
With much love we welcome each children here in the orphanage either
Budha, Hindu, Muslim or Christians, they are all children of God and we
give them the love that they needed. A s inspired by our patron saint
St. Dominic we tried our very best to serve them with joy and
compassion. We want them to feel of God's kingdom here on earth. Trials
and difficulties are always there to hinder us but with perseverance and
faith we will run the race God has set for us, the mission He had given
us.
The increasing number of children coming in the orphanage is an
indication that the Basic Unit of the Society we called 'Family' is in
danger. And thus, it is a challenge for all of us either lay or
religious, Christians or not Christians. Let me show you then the data
of our children.

As of now, we
have 26 staff/employees and 6 Sisters who administered in the orphanage.
Seeing the statistics above we, as God's servants solely depends in His
providence and for 33 years in this mission God is never out done of
generosity. He is with us all the time. This can be manifested through
our benefactors and all those who help us in this kind of work. It's
very uplifting to see that everyone care's for the children. Above all
what is most important is we provide a healthy home for the children, a
place where they experience love and joy and a place where they can call
"Home". Let us give that happiness to them and together let us build
this world a better place to live!
